I had never met, written to, or talked to Carolina before the shoot; I had no idea what she looked like. Everything was set up by Bonnie; all I knew was that Carolina was an exchange student from Chile.
So we met downtown, me with my camera, her with an umbrella. We shot some outdoors, in 39 degree weather and a steady drizzle. We shot indoors sometimes to get warm. It was over in an hour, and we said goodbye. She returns to Chile in two weeks, so I will probably never see her again. Except in pictures.
