		<description>When taking shots for falling snow, this is my best advice:  find a darker backdrop, whether it be a building or trees or what have you. Then, during the editing process, you can lower the Curves and raise the Contrast and voila! Perfected snow shots. 

P.S. Using the flash at night and aiming directly into the oncoming snow is excellent, too. The flash captures the flakes and very little of the backdrop.
